In the real world, my concern is that the legalists in the military will insert themselves into the Kill Web and become the same impediment they were in Iraq and Afghanistan. Even a few seconds of delay can allow a target to escape, and inserting "approvals" into the "Decider" part of the Kill Web could really reduce the effectiveness of the scheme.

hi Ryan, I bought this month already. I live in China for 4 years. Chinese, like other peoples in developing countries, are people with great features: hard working, moral, & creative. Rather than fancy "kill web" & "corridors", personnel exchanges (e.g., visiting professors) and Chinese language lessons may be more effective. That is, empathy & friendship may deter a war better than weapons. Xi Jinping is powerful, but his power relies on the righteous might of Chinese people, who have both internet & VPNs. Chinese people like Chinese food, their family, & comfortable life, they aren't interested in military campaigns & are peaceful. For instance, Chinese people engages in war, but their enemy were "other Chinese" not foreigners. Chinese food requires a stationary kitchen, so military campaigns are yucky food events. For instance, my friend Zhu Tenggao dislikes crackers because they are "too dry", but my grandfather, a naval aviator, always ate saltines. Also, despite hot weather in Jiangxi, I never observed fist fights in China. Perhaps, Chinese grandparents from the Cultural Revolution (w/o formal education) "harmonized" their grandchildren, so fights are uncommon. If foreigners show concern & love for Chinese grandmas , I venture the people power of Chinese grandmas deter Xi Jinping. I know that your are a former heavy-weapons operator, cyber security expert, & middle-east linguist. I am ignorant of these things, so I learn from you. I am one person with one voice, but perhaps other Ryan McBeth subscribers give you similar advice. If so, please consider it.

I spoke with a couple of Taiwanese while making this video and none of them. Want to go to war with China either. They are family.

Your comment is interesting. A former President of the U.S., Richard Nixon, talked about how the governments of the U.S. and Soviet Union could "never be friends" as their fundamental approaches to governance were so different and in competition and ruled by elites. Nixon believed true peace would have to evolve from the PEOPLE OF EACH country, the regular people who share the same basic needs and wants (to see their kids happy, work a decent job, and have dignity overall). Nixon thought if the people of every country became well acquainted with each other, peace would be a natural outcome.

Interesting piece today, Ryan. Any relationship between the system you describe and the AI system supposedly being used in Israel for targeting?

Please stop with the aggressive and escalating rhetoric... Nobody has to "defeat" china, or anyone apart from russia... Instead we only have to keep china in rein as good as possible. Surely they don't want to take over the world anyways, or does anyone really believe that they are as megalomaniac as Germany around the 1940s? Russia is the one that needs to be "defeated" ASAP instead, for what they're doing to Ukrainians.

This was a great video. The U.S. merchant fleet has been diminishing for years and the Pacific rim threat may reverse that. I would have to think the U.S. pacific territories (Midway, Wake, Johnson) and Okinawa, Australia; will take on new importance as supply chain bases. The PLAN still has a lot to learn about blue water operations, but I am sure they are endeavoring to do so.

I like how you illustrated logistics with a video of russian soldiers unloading coffins with "load 200" (dead troops) from the truck. (the inscription on the van says "eternal memory", belongs to the funeral company)

Bro, look how far we have come. The F-22 and F-35 are great examples of how many advancements have been made. The real issue is cost to develop and deploy. Also, I will add that the U.S. is the BEST in the world are creating and fielding new technologies, and the WORST at protecting these secrets.
