I ordered it. Will start listening this weekend. The win machine was Great!
Tom Clancy was a member of the Naval Institute. It is where he got the idea for the Hunt for Red October.
When he wrote his first draft he was told he could not publish it because there was classified information in it. He asked what parts were classified and the reviewer said,”I can’t tell you.”
Several other drafts were written.
It was said that several Ronald Regan liked the hunt for red October and he gave many copies as gifts when it came out.
Ryan, I only consume audio books being on the road. I use my library app (Libby) to access audio books. For me, it’s free as a taxpayer. Audible charges like $14.95/month, which I’m not interested in. I’m certainly willing to pay for the audio book. Is there any other approach to getting access to the audio version?
