Tying the SDF to the PKK is like tying Sinn Féin to the IRA. Mostly correct back in the nineties, but just a political ploy here in the 2020's.

So many vicious fights going on, and the ICC has nothing to say. Of course; if it can't be blamed on Israel, then it's not a problem.

Of the three factors, I think the pounding Hezbollah has taken and the perceived weakening of Iran are the main things that are driving this. And the 'this' is the Turks.

I have to disagree with you about Tulsi. I chalk this up to disagreements on politics.

What did Ryan say about Tulsi Gabbard?

If Ryan said she's a POS Russian asset and a suck-up to the war criminal Assad who used poison gas on his own people, then Ryan is absolutely correct. She is a POS.

Tom, why did Biden pour billions of USD into Iran to fund the pro-Russian faction? Why does Biden use the US military to assist NATO's enemy, the Kurds? Why is the US supporting multiple sides in this war? Why is questioning this policy considered pro-Russia?

Put down the crackpipe dude. Everything in your unhinged screed has nothing to do with Tulsi being a huge POS and an Assad apologist.

As far as the Kurds, they want their own homeland, they're one of the largest ethnic groups with no place to call home. Erdoğan and Turkey have declared war on them, and the Kurds are fighting back to protect their own territory. That's not against NATO, that's not against America's interest.

The US owes an enormous debt to the Kurdish army. They were the fighters who won against ISIS. Remember ISIS? They were cutting the heads off of American hostages. The Kurds did most of the fighting to stop ISIS.

Biden SANCTIONED Iran - there was no pouring of billions of dollars. The Biden and US policy is to support the democratic moderates fighting against Assad and the oppressive Iranian theocracy. Russia is supporting Assad and the Iranian theocracy. People like Tulsi who support Assad are pro-Russia, and she goes one step further, Tulsi is just pro-Russia from the get-go along with her love for Assad.

1. Beginning with an ad hominem attack diminishes the seriousness of your argument. Respectful discourse fosters better understanding and more productive discussions.

2. Turkey is a NATO ally, and the U.S. must consider its obligations within the alliance. Turkey is engaged in an asymmetrical conflict with the Kurds, who seek autonomy and lay claim to parts of Turkey. While the U.S. has collaborated with Kurdish forces against ISIS, supporting actions that challenge the territorial integrity of a NATO member could lead to significant tensions within NATO. Therefore, the U.S. must carefully navigate its stance to maintain alliance unity.

3. It is concerning that President Joe Biden is funding Iran, an ally of Russia, during this time of conflict. Biden granted waivers allowing Iran to access funds that were previously frozen by the U.S., including $6 billion released in September 2023. Some sources, such as the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and communications from Congressman Brian Mast, claim that an additional $10 billion was released afterward, totaling $16 billion. While these funds are intended for humanitarian purposes, there are concerns that they could indirectly support adversarial activities, including aiding allies like Assad in Syria. Funding an adversary like Iran, especially one aligned with Russia, is a political decision that could have significant implications.

4. Although the media smears Tulsi Gabbard as pro-Russian, unlike Biden, she is against funding the Iranians and by extension the Russians. Tulsi advocates for a pragmatic approach to Syria and is concerned about who will ultimately gain control in the region. She emphasizes caution in foreign interventions and opposes actions that could inadvertently support adversaries. Even Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is considering involvement in Syria, highlighting the complexity of the situation.

I welcome a respectful exchange of information and views.

The frozen Iranian funds was their money. By international law the US was obligated to give it back to them WITH INTEREST. To save the American people from having to pay more money to Iran for the interest payments, both President Obama and President Biden facilitated getting the money back to them.

Kurd never declared war on Turkey. Turkey and Erdoğan declared war on them. It was self defense with them trying to create a homeland for the largest ethnic group in that part of the world with no place to call their own.

Tulsi is still a POS and she should be nowhere close to any top secret job in our government. Her being a member of a fringe wacko cult is reason enough to deny her a security clearance.

You have interesting opinions. Perhaps we should have never put sanctions on Iran? It would have been cheaper. The Kurds are terrorists and are fighting a war against a NATO ally. The want part of Turkey. Spin it how you like, this year or this decade they wollbe gone.

Slurring Tulsi because of your far left views is demeaning.
