What do you think is the possibility that the supposed gap in Israeli intelligence is explained by the prime minister deliberately suppressing early warnings of an attack to create a political excuse for what is happening now?
Ryan seems oblivious to the fact that Israel struck a French contracted nuclear reactor in Iran and it's a pretty famous operation. The leader of Jordan watched the F16s fly over but couldn't get in touch fast enough to warn anyone. Israel hitting Iran with F35s should be fine, you're not going to need a ton of SEAD to hit some specific targets with one of the best stealth jets and standoff munitions.
The problem is that Iran is at least twice as far. You’re gonna have to refuel somewhere for every pound of fuel you carry, that’s one less pound of ordinance it’s not going to be easy, and some countries might be reluctant to let Israel through their airspace.
Ah yea, I got confused and thought it WAS Iran they hit with it but it was Iraq and I was just plain wrong lol. But it was eastern Iraq near the Iran border. I know that it's suspected that Israel has assassinated a lot of nuclear scientists and the like in Iran but not with airstrikes I don't believe. But I think Israel can pull it off if they refuel over the strait where it's international and then fly north for the strike. The F16 would be rough due to SAM systems in Iran but the F35 in theory should be able to hit any target in Iran with a standoff munition from 100+km away. It won't be as stealthy doing it but should be able to manage.
But I do agree it won't be a regular ongoing persistent campaign, it would be a one off thing.

Oh, I’m aware of Operation Opera.

Still wrong, Tony.
