Thanks for sharing, pretty absurd but someone will think it truthful. And others wont care if its truth or not but will just share and amplify just for kicks.... humans can really suck sometimes. Charles

As a former combat engineer in the army (12B), I can attest to this being authentic. I would not trust those fuses though. They look a bit off.

Also, remember kids, once a mine is in place, it is no longer your friend. NEVER RETRIEVE YOUR MINES! BLOW THEM IN PLACE!

PSA complete.

Many people will read the headline, believe it and pass it on. Critical thinking should be a mandatory class in public schools

This a classic of DIP. I don't think it is a coincidence that the labels were turned so they can't be seen. Also "canned meat" would not be in a package like this unless they came from some sort of military rations. No company I know puts their product in an OD can and doesn't splash their name and telling you how good it is all over it. Too bad that people with the ability or desire to use critical thinking will believe and spread this rumor. Good job by you.

Last time I saw food in cans was c-rats a long time ago. Had some old ones as the first MRE’s were coming out.

Last time I ate C-rats was back in the late 60's. Nowadays it is MRE's and they come in a foil package.

Another great video. I shared it on FB and recommended Ryan's Substack page.

I’m not a mine expert, but I am from Israel and I’m pretty sure the IDF does use AT mines, just not in a conventional way. The Yahalom Sayeret had been filmed using those mines to destroy tunnels and buildings. They replace the fuse with det cord, so I guess all of those cans are of discarded fuses.

Here’s a video of the installation of such mines in a tunnel: https://youtu.be/KSpImSF0NB0?si=Eoz2bc3QI8C46UO0

Also those mines were responsible for two big accidents. One with a truck carrying those two weeks ago that IIRC got hit by ND or something like that, and yesterday with 21 casualties because an RPG hit a building where reservists were laying those mines.

But do they use THESE mines? For if not, then your contribution, while informative, has no connection with this video.

As I said I’m not a mine expert so l leave the identification for the experts, but the mines in the video look pretty similar, so even if they’re not the same exact model, their fuses could be the same or at least come in similar canisters. Again it doesn’t mean the IDF uses those mines or fuses against people (they’re still anti tank so I guess those fuses won’t be triggered by a person), or left those to trick people. They’re just dead weight anyway. Israel has no use for AT mines in Gaza so they just use their explosives for demolition.

Ryan, thanks so much for these examples of DIP. My stepdaughter is going to start studying cyber security at George Mason University very soon and she really enjoys your posts when I show them to her. Good stuff!!

Hey Ryan! Is this video DIP or legit? It is allegedly of Israeli treatment of Palestinian POWs.
