Iran's Attack Plans and Tisha B'av
If Iran doesn't attack by August 12th, it might not attack at all.
It is possible that Iran is waiting for the Jewish Holiday of Tish B'av to strike Israel. This is a day of calamity in Jewish history and tradition to the point that some things that may or may not have happened on Tish B'av are attributed to it.
Tish B'av occurs at sundown on the 12th of August.
1. You pronounce Tisha B'av pretty well.
2. It's more of a fasting day, not a business holiday.
3. The thing it's remembered for is that both Jewish temples were allegedly destroyed on it. The other events could be mentioned as "BTW, it happened around that day" at curiosity level but not more than that as far as I can tell. Last time I read, I think that one of the temples was probably destroyed a day before or after but it's too much to fast for 48 hours in a raw (also remember it's the middle of summer - around July-August) so they were combined.
(And before you compare the Jewish fasting to the Muslims fasting month of Ramadhan - Jewish fasting is from sundown to sundown. Ramadhan fasting is only during sunlight)
(It's also both mine and my mom's Jewish birthday - the legend is that the Messiah would be a third generation born on that day but alas, I missed it with all my kids 😉).
