Russia has influence over many countries, businesses and individuals. Anyone who says Ukrainians are terrorists or nazis really reveals who feeds them their information. We can’t eliminate misinformation but it’s important to call it out and publicly identify it. Thanks Ryan

Just subscribed for a year. Thank you for this important and poignant post ; alliteration intended. It astounds me how those talking heads just take it upon themselves to spew (non-facts) and blue the line of language & intention when informing people. This video reminds us to be extra fu*#$'ng vigilant in being critical of not only Mass Media but all sources of "information" , reliable or not.

Yup, I'll build on this. I'm a recently paid subscriber when Ryan really scratched me where I itch. "Talking heads" is what I was going to mention also... Director:"Okay we're going live! Act like you know about menouvering military assets against this dictator (do not even whisper his name) who decided to invade Ukraine, is an ESCALATION! Supported by the US..."

Well at one point it seems like irresponsible and which side are you on anyway? Ryan made the great point: Ukraine is defending against an invading agressor and is making moves yes to affect an outcome that will aid in it's efforts to repel this aggressor. And Kudos for calling that talking head out (I don't remember his name) at the end "we all know how this ends" , I mean F that guy. Ukraine are not terrorists for defending themselves for god sakes.

THANK YOU!

Saagar never forgave Ukraine for being invaded. If you go back to the start of the full invasion Saagar read a few books and became an expert on Russia. He said Russia would never invade. They did. He said we would all die from nuclear holocaust if we halp Ukraine, we didn't.

Every Ukraine piece has been just like this one. All of them full of misstatements and lies.

Krystal and Saagar quickly became the thing they thought they were fighting against. A corrupt media that can't be trusted.

I think Breaking Points in general does a reasonable job. They obviously have personal hot button issues like Ukraine and Gaza and really lose their objectivity when reporting on these topics. So I just tune them out on these matters because they simply aren’t trustworthy. Thanks for your coverage of these Matt and your willingness to take a stand. It is much appreciated.

Never heard of “Breaking Points”…. Always figured they too were/are just another “faux citizen-journalism” front of some propaganda outlet, like epoch/newsmax/etc

Breaking Points is not a news show. It is political commentary period. They have a populist, isolationist view of the world which colors their commentary. They are not outliers, a large and growing segment of the American pubic share this view, and its roots run deep. American isolation can be traced all the way back to George Washington. It is what the US was founded on. It is not a product of Russian misinformation. Will the Russians try to manipulate this? Of course. Does this mean Breaking Points should be censored? Absolutely not.

Bare in mind, Nobody has a monopoly on the truth.

My current assessment is Ukraine is trying to capture enough land to weaken Putin and force an acceptable end of war... They're making decent progress with what looks like little resistance.
