Ryan, I greatly appreciate the still photo analysis, and the story that you are helping to tell. I think Ernie Pyle would be proud of the type of journalism. I won't watch the video, I've seen enough people die in real life, and it won't change my mind about Russia's decisions or actions in this war. Each week I contact the offices of my member of the House of Representatives and my two Senators to let them know that as a taxpaying and voting US citizen I want US foreign policy to include full support for the people of Ukraine. Keep up the thoughtful and detailed work. It adds value to the conversation, and like all good journalism it takes time and money to do it properly. I'd much rather subscribe to this and wait for my news than watch a 24 hour channel. Your service, STRATFOR, and the Economist are worth every dime of subscription fee. With gratitude, Gordon.

Add this to the list of atrocities committed by Putin’s goons.

This makes my blood boil. They’re Animals and the they should be treated as such. After this and other atrocities, I’m not far away from recommending collecting scalps. But that would put “the good guys” on their level.

How can anyone watch this and not see the evil being committed by Rus. I’m conservative and it makes me angry to see these taking heads bash supporting Ukraine. Especially after these atrocities. Send more and send it yesterday. God I can’t wait to see a video of a column of Challengers, Leopards and Abrams rolling up on Russians lines

So it makes sense why MAGA loves Putin, right?

When I see videos like this it solidifies my support for Ukraine.

I just don't see why the Republicans are calling for pulling support for Ukraine.

If I was a Ukrainian soldier I would not surrender to Wagner. I’d use a rock or knife to charge at the last to make sure this stuff didn’t happen. Long ago I spoke with a Dutch man who fought Japanese in WW2. He explained they made pacts to ensure none would be taken alive. Including charging with grenades at zero fuze in hand. Soldiers already accepting death are much harder to fight as an added bonus.

Yes it’s Wagner but it’s not a “pmc” in a strict sense . It is an integral unit of the ruzzian fascists forces.

Hard to love this, but thanks for refuting those who will say it was faked.

This is just atrocious. I won’t watch it. However, it reminds me of one of the first videos I ever saw on the internet, from the Russia/Chechen War. I’m not sure who did what, but someone had a soldier on the ground, put their boot on their head, inserted a knife into their throat behind their windpipe, and pulled it forward, ripping the front of their throat out. It still scares me to this day. I hope that someone holds Russia accountable for all the atrocities and when this is over, doesn’t immediately welcome Russia back into the world organizations.

Oh gosh, this was so difficult to see. Real life is totally different from the movies. This is why when soldiers return, they are not the same person that left. I do remember Arnold Swartzenager (I can't spell) talking of how the veterans would go to the bar every night to drink, and also hit their wives and children. It was not just those who saw comrades killed, it was those that did the killing. They banded together, aware of what they had done, and drank and bragged but knew outside of their group, what they had done was unacceptable to humanity. Kill someone, but to do it in such an awful dramatic manner, that's not a controlled and honorable military, that is barbarism and a sign of loss of control.

Thank you for bringing the raw reality that is war to your channel. It’s important to bring these things to light. War is tragic

I hope these barbarians get a visit from from Ukrainian SF or a company of Western Tanks. What a despicable act.

I have so many thoughts running through my head right now I cannot muster a thoughtful answer to anything I just saw... Russia! You will be a very long time living down this War just like the Nazis after WWII...

I really expected this to turn out a fake, otherwise I would not have watched it...

I'm sorry you had to in order to report on it... :(
