Why the UAE leaving OPEC may not be a problem

Tucked away in the United Nations — Treaty Series (for 1962) one finds document No. 6363, entitled “Agreement Concerning the Creation of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).” The document is an excellent bit of insight into the history of OPEC, and it offers a glimpse into the history of the oil industry and struggles between oil producers and oil consumers.
