A number of people asked me to analyze this video. I initially resisted because I didn’t think there was much to analyze. After inspecting the video, I think that there are three key takeaways.
NOTE:
I was wrong about an IED. A grenade comes through the doorway at 00":25:07. I missed that. My bad.
#1. Never go out alone.
#2. Pick the least bad of an option.
#3. Inaction kills.
Just because you’ve been shot doesn’t mean you are going to die. But the second you give up the will to live, you are done.
