How a Navy Plane Lands on an Aircraft Carrier

Two months ago I was a software engineer and a YouTuber. At roughly this time tomorrow, I’m going to land on the deck of the USS Eisenhower.

I often jokingly call the US Navy the “Department of the Boat People” because the Navy is so foreign to me that I simply can’t fathom what they do.

So I’ve been doing a lot of reading about how a Navy plane actually lands on a carrier that way I can better tell the story. First off, some basics.
