On or about 2-3PM on September 17th, a Marine Corps F-35B had a mishap about one mile north of Charleston International Airport in South Carolina. The pilot ejected safely and landed nearby. The F-35 continued flying until crashing into a field near Indiantown, South Carolina. The debris of the crash was not found until September 18th on or about 6:30 PM the next day.
What happened in between is a case study of how a user with few connections could trick an experienced political commentator into repeating disinformation.
