Could the Chechen Military Tesla Cybertruck Work as a Tactical Vehicle?
Only if you want to get targeted and destroyed quickly
A number of viewers asked me if Tesla CEO Elon Musk really had given Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov a Cybertruck and whether that vehicle would be a good military vehicle as President Kadyrov claimed.
This probably would't be a good military vehicle for a number of reasons:
1. The Cybertruck has not been ruggedized for military use. Its seats will tear and the touch screen cannot be used with gloves.
2. The Cybertruck has not be designed with CBRN in mind.
3. Powering radios and battle management systems may drain the battery on long duration missions.
4. Increased logistical burden and difficulty charging in a tactical environment.
5. Increased thermal and radio spectrum profile.
6. Problems with control of lights and sound.
7. Armor may not be thick enough to support tactical applications.
Of all of these items, probably the biggest issue is radio and thermal masking. Since the Cybertruck wasn’t designed as a military vehicle, we don’t know how “leaky” it is when it comes to calling home or its thermal signature.
Camouflage isn’t just needed in the visual spectrum, all spectrums must be taken into considering during military operations.

God I hope they take it to the battlefield. Tesla's are always dialing home. It transmits its location all the time. Easy to find. Easy to track. Once it goes overseas the US and allies don't really need to ask permission to "hack" into Tesla's vehicle communication.
The only thing I can think it would be good for is ferrying VIPs around the rear. The FAR rear.
How does one recharge a cybertruck on the battlefield? if your adversary is knocking out power, and electricity is limited, then how would one refuel? you would have to carry a generator full of diesel just to refuel it, correct? It feels like it kind of defeats the point
