The whole "UFOs are real" hysteria reflects some confusion between being extra-terrestrial, being alien, and being unidentified. Many things could be unidentified and indeed unidentifiable but not be extra-terrestrial.
It would take some hubris of a Trumpian level too assume that everything is known by someone (and that someone probably is either a Soviet or works for the government).
Do I believe in “life out there “ yes. But for most of the same reasons you listed never believed in a visitation. Frankly it’s pretty self centered to think that in the entire universe we’re the only “Intelligent Species “ when in fact we’re not even the only one on our planet. Mainstream science has accepted that Cetaceans ,for example communicate with each other through a type of language, teach complex skills to their young, form families, and communal groups for protection and hunting. Mourn the death of mates and offspring, play, and even have sex just for fun. Sounds like intelligent life to me.

*To, not too
Someone who knows more than me, "Could the KPG extinction have been caused by aliens?"
Great analysis, Ryan!
